A new version of the website designed to improve performance and deliver a smoother, more intuitive browsing experience.
CHM Autopartes did not have an active website when the project began. They previously had a WordPress site, but over time it stopped receiving maintenance and eventually both the domain and hosting were lost, leaving the business completely offline.
The initial challenge was to restore their digital presence and bring the website back online using the previous version. However, it quickly became clear that there was an opportunity to go beyond a simple reactivation and develop a redesign that would modernize the site and improve usability.
The project started by restoring the existing website to reestablish the company’s online presence. Once this was achieved, the redesign process began with a discovery phase to define the site’s goals and what the client expected from their new digital presence.
Based on this, the project was structured using a Gantt-style timeline, organized into design sprints that allowed for a clear and structured workflow.
During the process, an initial research phase was conducted, followed by a visual moodboard, mid- to high-fidelity wireframes, and a final high-fidelity prototype covering both mobile and desktop versions.
The design went through several iterations with the client, mainly focused on refining content and improving information structure. This collaborative process ensured the final solution was aligned with the business needs.
The company regained an active website, restoring its online visibility and making key information easily accessible to clients and potential customers.
The redesign optimized the user journey by reorganizing content and creating a clearer, more efficient navigation flow.
The new visual approach modernized the site, resulting in a more consistent and professional look that better represents the brand and its activity.
